Televideo / Telehealth

As of now, most of my patients are doing televideo visits with me. I have been using and my virtual office is at It is easy to use and can work on a smartphone with a camera or computer with a webcam. For established patients, it is up to them if they want to do their visits in-person or virtually via televideo. I am set up to do electronic prescriptions of controlled substances (e.g. Adderall) so, even if you are used to getting paper prescriptions from me, we can do a televideo appointment.

New Patients still need to come in-person for their first appointment with me. For established patients who want to come in-person, you can still come in-person. Evanston has mandated people wear masks inside places of business and I think that is a good rule. Please wear a mask the entire time you are in our office suite – including the waiting room. If you have symptoms such as cough, fever, fatigue, or a loss of smell/taste, please cancel your appointment and reschedule. If you tested positive for coronavirus or have been in close contact with someone who tested positive for coronavirus, someone should have already instructed you to isolate and stay home for a certain period of time (e.g. 14 days). Please do what you are supposed to do.

John Koh, Martin McCarthy, and April Yoon are all available via televideo.

I hope you find this information helpful.

Be Safe,
Peter Hsin MD
